Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Suited ("we", "us") handles your information when you use the Suited app (the "Service"). We aim to collect only what we need to make the Service work.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — your email address and the display name you choose. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email address the provider shares (with Sign in with Apple this may be a private relay address).
• Photos you submit — selfies for colour-season analysis and pictures of clothing for colour matching.
• Results — your assigned colour season and the history of items you have checked.
• Device & messaging data — a push-notification (FCM) token and your device's timezone offset, used to send reminders you have opted into.
• Usage & diagnostics — basic analytics and performance data to help us improve the app and fix problems.
• Purchases — subscription status (we do not receive your card details; payments are handled by the app store and RevenueCat).
• Advertising data — if you choose to watch an optional rewarded ad, Google AdMob may process device identifiers and your recorded consent choices to serve and measure that ad.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the core features: estimate your colour season and check clothing against your palette.
• To store your palette and scan history so you can return to them.
• To send reminders and product messages if you opt in to notifications.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service.

3. Third-party services

We share data with these processors only as needed to run the Service:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage, analytics, performance, and push notifications.
• OpenAI — your submitted image is sent to OpenAI's API to produce the colour-season or colour-match result. We do not use your photos to train models.
• RevenueCat + your app store — to manage subscriptions and entitlements.
• Google AdMob — to show the optional rewarded ads described below.

4. Advertising & your choices

Suited can show an optional rewarded ad — you actively choose to watch it in exchange for an extra scan; ads are never forced on you. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), a consent form powered by Google's User Messaging Platform appears before any ad may be requested, and ads are only requested in line with your choice. You can review or change your ad privacy choices at any time in Settings → Ad privacy options (shown where the requirement applies).

5. Photos

Photos you submit are uploaded to Firebase Storage and sent to our AI provider to generate a result. You can delete scanned items from your history in the app, and deleting your account removes your stored photos.

6. Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, palette, history, and stored photos.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can edit your profile and delete your account directly in the app (Settings → Delete Account), or contact us for help.

8. Children

Suited is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
